The Institute campus is situated in the Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited area as such the supply of power is remains continue over 24 hours.

TNPL ITI have a well-furnished and well equipped spacious library with excellent collection of Books for academic study, reference and for improving the general knowledge of the Students in order to prepare them for professional courses entrance examination. The Students are allowed to make use of the ITI library both during the library hour and after ITI hours, for furthering their knowledge, developing their vocabulary and Cultivating the habit of reading.
Institute has a good Library-cum-Reading Room with 260 Technical Books including NIMI’s Books. Library has sufficient sitting capacity where students as well as staff members read the books and will follow open access system.
With a view to develop the all-round personality of the trainees, the Institute emphasizes equally on sports. It is the constant endeavor of the Institute to see that the trainees grow intellectually as well as physically. To facilitate this, the Institute provides all necessary facilities and equipment’s to the trainees for maintaining physical fitness and good health. The Institute has facilities for many outdoor and indoor games and sports like Volley Ball, Badminton, Carom, Chess, etc. All the games have sports equipment of good quality which is accessible to all trainees.
The Institute is ably supported with IT Lab having computing resources providing access to trainees. The lab is ably powered with latest software applications.
The IT Lab has adequate infrastructure including 16 latest computers, laser Printer, Networking Items etc. The lab has dedicated broadband Internet connectivity to encourage trainees in acquiring advanced skills and knowledge in IT through the internet. Moreover, the IT Lab will be upgraded from time to time to ensure that the facilities remain at par with the latest.
Purified Water supply is provided in the institute campus to avail safe drinking water for Trainees, Staff and Visitors.
